We have had some Reports, that this problem occured when an anti virus scanner was active. Are you able to confirm this?

Other users reported that cut scenes are effected if AGP fast write options are not enabled in the graphics driver options. Please enable them if possible (in SmartGart options for Radeon cards).

have just started to play the game this morning am in the village of greyfell and the original problem that i thought the virus scanner had sorted is back the music is skipping and stuttering so i guess in this case it was not the virus scanner though i put it back on and it is alot worse with it on so it does have some effect i think i will play without music untill a patch may fix
anyother checks u want me to do just ask cant find acp setting in nvidia drivers am using the microsoft approved drivers at present but am willing to try the latest one if the will help

You might want to make sure no other programs are running in the background. Please post dxdiag.txt and msinfo32.txt as described in http://spellforce.jowood.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1333 so we can analyze in detail.
