how do you beat that gy? the demons are just insanely strong if you use a team since they use multiple fireball and that does a lot of damage so my army is dead in about 1minute and i aint even passed the first demon gate...suggestions?

hmm u can send heroes first so demons use up their fireballs and then u bring ur army and kick their ass. If there arent any hero monuments in the island u can send ur titan first. If u know White Magic u can use area heal spells. If u know mental magic u can use mana burn spells but i think there isnt an area spell for it. ;)

i just completed this last night. only way i beat it was to a full sized army of 50 i think of orcs just sit there. then slowly advance each time reinforcing your troops after each battle. eventually so many died i was left to just building spearmen since my wood ran out.

the trick is to only attack the portals in the south, don't even try to attack the portals in the north your get slaughtered. or at least i did.

u also don't have to attack the portals at all, or even kill all the demons. all u have to do is go east to talia, talk with her and then battle ulathar. When this happens all the demons will attack your orc base, no point defending it. However there is a troll momument on the other side, so u just build an army of trolls and go kick ass, but u have to let your orc base be completely destroyed.i then just escorted talia back to the portal on the other side with my newly formed troll army still leaving lots of red dots on the screen. then u get the shard. i did however manage with my troll army to kill the portals and creatures in the north part of the map. i didn't have enough resources to kill those in the south. afterwards, it spawns lots of lvl 25 creatures when ulathar dies.

i'm planning on coming back later to kill all those red dots for exp, but right now i'm just finishing of quests.

eventually u can win, just have to throw 500 orcs at them :)

btw i discovered this a little late in the game, but totems work great against the demons, that pain spell seems to kill them very quickly espically the lower lvl ones. i just wish i didn't use up all my wood for the fighters.

ulathar drops a red glowing key for those 3 chests at portal. u need whats in them

heh i just ran through like a moron all the way out and destroyed ulthar 1on1 :D, on the way back i got a hero monument and i used a whole lot of troll peons as bait to the fireballs.. lol

also im at the godmarks now, i cant pass the frost things after the ice elves, are there alternate locations of finding a dark elf worker rune?

also, where is the darklands is the plate of amra located? i cant be arsed to look through all the maps...

edit: i dont really need the dark elf worker rune since my uber hero can rape armies alone :D
but i want to see the warriors of the dark elves...alternate locations highly appreciated, thanx

couldn't be bothered using the monuments.... just stuck to the valley.. killed everything that moved.. didn't move up to the slopes.. then i fought that uther guy 1 v 1.. took me down to a 1/5 of health.. heh.. nice beastie (its nice to fight things when u have 1000 health :)), walked back same way.. couldn't be bothered with slopes.. finished map in mmm 20 - 30 mins ? :)

Lol bad u aint gone on slopes... There are some nice things... I raped all also that uber army of deamons that comes when u kill tha gay.. Those freakin reddeaths are really hard to kill...

BTW anyone knows where can i find the giant spider blood? I have the blood of a deamon and of a dragon but not the spider one... Im in southern godmark now...

I killed ulthar 1 on 1 also at level 19 (level 8 black magic, 3 white). What level where you guys that 1 on 1 this guy?

i found this map very easy, after watching Talia getting trapped, i just killed all the demons standing in my way with my level 20 avater, then rushed after him whit 50 heavelly armed orcs + my avater and kicked his arse. After that i builded up a large troll force and smashed the demons.
